Kristy Clements is the owner of Severance Photography, a stock photography agency that focuses on the lives of people living in remote areas or in indigenous cultural areas. Her work has taken her to Honduras, Peru, Costa Rica, Nepal, Bali, Brazil, Patagonia, and West Africa.

As a past member of the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marin & Napa and Kids with Cameras, Kristy enjoys making a difference in the lives of disenfranchised children through the art of photography. Featured as a guest lecturer for the San Francisco Academy of Art, Kristy enjoys participating as a photographer, art donor, and educator. She is passionate about supporting Sebastiao and Lelia Salgado's project in Brazil, Instituto Terra (an Atlantic Forest environmental recovery project) and the incredible efforts of Women's Earth Alliance and The Art Ranch.  

Kristy is currently an active Board of Directors' member of the Natural Capital Institute's Wiser Earth.
